The Kyalami Grand Prix circuit will once again host the Festival of Motoring for the sixth time, with the 2023 edition opening its gates from August 25 to August 27.
Michael Dehn, the Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt South Africa, the event organiser, expresses his excitement about partnering with WesBank once again to deliver an even better experience to visitors.
WesBank CEO Ghana Msibi states that the Festival of Motoring has become a must-attend annual consumer event for the motoring community. He emphasises the event's unique opportunity for consumers to experience new vehicles, technologies, and innovations, which will be presented in a lifestyle experiential showcase that prioritises consumer enjoyment.
Kyalami to host Festival of Motoring in August
WesBank, along with FNB and MotoVantage, key players within the FirstRand group, are committed to supporting events and experiences that delight and inspire their customers, and they see the Festival of Motoring as the perfect platform to achieve this.
The event will feature leading car manufacturers showcasing their range of cars on various tracks, including the main circuit, the handling track, and the 4x4 course. The 2023 lineup already includes renowned brands such as BMW, Mini, BMW Motorrad, Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Citroen, Fiat, Jeep, Mopar, Opel, Peugeot, Suzuki, Haval, BAIC, and Isuzu.
Dehn shares the goal of taking the experiences to the next level. The ticket price will cover selected track rides, self-handling, and 4x4 experiences without additional cost. In addition, visitors can now pre-purchase performance/supercar experiences at a desired time slot for the 2023 edition. Drifting and karting rides will also be available on-site for an extra fee.

Early bird ticket sales are available until April 30 at R220 per ticket. Starting from May 1, general access tickets will cost R265 per adult and R70 for children between 4 and 12 years old. The ticket price includes a complimentary shuttle service from the Mall of Africa to the Festival of Motoring.
